I'm so happy to be moving across to 100% cruelty free brands and this includes products that refuse to sell to China due to their animal testing regualtions. It has been a long road with lots of research into what brands I feel would suit my brides and clients. I have carefully curated some beautiful makeup, all long lasting, good for the skin and commited to stand against animal cruelty. Brands such as Charlotte Tillbury, Ilamasqua, Lily Lolo, Glossier, Makeup Geek, Anastasia Beverley Hills, Morphe and Cargo are all being tried and tested so that I can ensure I can rely on these for bridal makeup.

A quick update as its been so very long, but also a wonderful summer, full of beautiful brides to be and amazing venues! I want to kick off the Autumn season with this really pretty mini shoot I did with the gorgeous Megan at my home. I did the makeup and hair and I went for a full on Hollywood wave which perfectly suited her style and during the shoot I felt as if she were chaneling Marilyn Monroe. This look, although maybe more daring than a bridal look would still work for a more of a vintage/hollywood wedding, with some beautiful winter and oscar night vibes!

Firstly on The English Wedding Blog for Faye's post Bridal shoot with Kathryn Hopkins and secondly on Magpie Weddings for the Rayne carriage shoot.  Zoe was a stunning, very traditional bride earlier in June. To help cover he Rosacea, we opted for a airbrush finish using airbase and you can see from the before and afters what an amazing, flawless finish it gave her. She looks fresh, radient and also like a more polished version of herself. Airbrushing is the perfect, lightweight foundation to have on a wedding day for bridal makeup, as it has staying power and looks camera ready! xx

Claire was such a lovely, natural bride! I loved doing her bridal makeup at Gosfield this month. She looked so lovely. Claire had waited a long time to get married and enjoyed having her adult daughter Lauren as a bridesmaid. I did the makeup on the whole bridal party, but I thought I'd share these great before and after shots. Congrats to Claire and Neil. xx
