How can I book you for my wedding day?

Upon your initial email or phone call I will send you over a booking form. Once this is completed and returned with you non-refundable booking fee then I will write to you to confirm your booking with me. All bookings are on a first come first served basis.

When can I have my Trial? Can I meet you beforehand?

I would really recommend having a trial ideally no more than six months before the wedding, as by this time you’ll have a fairly good idea of the theme, style and colours you’ll be incorporating into the day. You’ll have your dress and may have even had your hair trial so it’s nice to have it all come together. If you’d like to meet me beforehand I’m more than happy to meet you for a coffee or drink to discuss your big day, this is dependent on travel distance.
I have 6 Bridesmaids and my Mum and Mother in Law to be who’d like their makeup done. Is this too many?
I’m able to makeup large bridal parties. I have other wonderful artists that I can ask to help me on the day to ensure it runs smoothly and totally stress free!

How soon can I book you for my wedding date?

As soon as you decide! My advice is please do not leave it. I’m currently booking for 2018 and now 2019. I respond to all my enquiries in a timely fashion, sending you out a booking form upon your initial email or phone call. But this doesn’t secure your date. Only a returned booking form and deposit secures the date and all bookings are

Do you accept credit / debit cards?

If you wish to pay the balance in full before the day then you are able to pay by card through BACs. However, if you chose to pay the remaining balance on the day then this is to be paid by cash only.

What if I need to cancel my booking?

In the event of you needing to cancel your booking please do let me know, so that the date may go free again. The booking fee is non-refundable as this was keeping your date secure. If you need to cancel and it is within 4 weeks of the wedding date then 30% of the final bill will still be due.

What is a Bride Only Package?

I have put together a special package, purely for Brides who are not having anyone else involved on their wedding morning. The package price of £230.00 will include the trial makeup and on the day, lashes and travel to the trial and venue on the day (destination weddings or weddings over a 1 hour and half driving distance will have a surcharge). This is a pressure free package and will also include your choice of either Bobbi Brown, Mac or Ilamasqua lipstick on the day. If at the last moment a member of your wedding party decides to have makeup then you are free to add them on at the normal charge of £55.00 per head.

How far do you travel?

I will travel wherever you want me to go. I allow up to 10 mile radius distance from Braintree within my price structure. I can travel much further; just drop me a line to discuss your needs. In the event of an overnight stay or air travel, I will put together a bespoke price for you.

What products do you use?

I use a variety of high end products such as Charlotte Tillbury, Mac, Bobbi Brown and Ilamasqua. I have been in the beauty industry for many years and I have tried and tested these products so I can assure you that they will last through to the early hours of the morning!  However I do recommend you remove it first…but it does depend on how late the party goes on.
Is it alright to get a spray tan/use fake tan before makeup? Shall I get my eyelashes tinted, eyebrows waxed? I’m also thinking of semi-permanent lashes. Shall I start facials?
Having spent the early part of my career as a Beauty therapist, I can give you lots and lots of advice on when to start any beauty rituals or skin care regimes. I’m a HUGE believer in less is more. If you are prone to break outs I wouldn’t suggest that you begin a deep cleansing block of facials 6 weeks before your wedding date. It could cause more breakouts and be harder to get control of before the big day. If you have time (a year) then a facial once every 6 weeks along with a good skin care routine should be ample. Waxing and tinting is great, but again give it lots of time and visit a good therapist. Don’t get your eyebrows waxed for the first time the day before the wedding. The same with a tan; have a practice run first.
I love semi-permanent lashes, but again have a good think beforehand and find a good practitioner as they are an investment and require upkeep. If you don’t want to have them then I can provide either strip or individual lashes on the day.

Shall I bring pictures to the trial?

Yes by all means, it’s great to see your ideas! I really believe that creating your perfect bridal makeup is a collaborative process, where I can take what you have envisioned and see what I think would work best for your style, face shape and colours. I can even make you a pin board online so that we can both share ideas.

How long will the trial take and can I have further trials?

Yes you can. If we haven’t got it spot on at the first trial and you want to have another go, additional trials are priced at £50.00 plus travel. At your main trial we should be together up to an hour and a half.
